Congratulations to Carrie and David!

Carrie and David Y. welcomed their beautiful daughter into the world late last night. I felt like the lucky one because I got to capture the joy that these new parents were experiencing through birth photography. What an incredible prize at the end of a very long race.....Carrie had been in labor since Thursday morning! Baby Y. did not have a name yet when I left the hospital last night around 11pm....her mom and dad want to get to know her a little to see what fits her. Congrats again!

It's Bath Time!

What is it about babies in the bathtub that just makes you want to grab your camera? It is the perfect photo op! And if your baby is anything like mine, he loves the water, the bubbles, the toys..the whole bathing experience (that is of course until he turns about 5 and then he will probably fight me tooth and nail when I say it is bath time!)

Baby Brady's Photo Session

Here she is...Baby Brady B. Isn't she beautiful?! I feel like my own mother when I say, "I don't even remember my child being that small"...but I really don't remember...and he is only been 10 months old! Brady is such a doll. Her big brother Carter does not seem to mind her, but like most almost 2 year olds, he prefers Bob the Builder. We did her photo session in her home yesterday. This is the front of her custom birth announcement. It is 7X5 and printed on high quality linen paper. Brady's mom loves different colors and designs so she is actually going to have me design a second announcement as well. Keep your eyes peeled. Have a wonderful weekend!

A Star Returns to the US!

Today I got to shoot Nati....as she is called by her family and close friends. She just returned from Korea where she was contracted for a year to perform- acting, dancing, singing. Prior to that, she held a lead role in Katonga at Busch Gardens. This is my favorite headshot.

What an incredible day is was today! So my best friend, Vicky, and I took full advantage of it with our little boys...camera in hand- of course! I am sure no one noticed the 2 little naked beach bums playing in the water! They were so much cuter than all those college kids on spring break anyway! ha!

Amy and Chris B. welcomed their baby girl, Brady, into the world on March 1! Her newborn session is this week so check back soon to view my favorites! Not only did I have the pleasure of shooting Amy's maternity, but I had the absolute joy of shooting Brady's birth. What an incredible experience to be able to capture the emotion and love in my images for these parents. Megan and Eddie P. welcomed their baby girl, Elizabeth, into the world this week....no wonder she was not available to pick up her prints! ha! So excited for you both. Megan e-mailed me this note after our session.....

"I wanted to thank you so much for the shoot yesterday. I have never been comfortable in front of the camera, however you made everything very relaxing and I know I will be so happy to have the keepsakes of this time in my life." Aaawww- don't you just love warm fuzzies??!!

It has been a busy week for me- but we all know how much I love to be busy. Andi Diamond Photography is in full swing and I am loving it!
