Pregnancy Redefined....

I really believe the beauty of pregnancy is something to be celebrated..and Melissa is one woman who really embodies the grace and elegance that I think comes with being pregnant. At our shoot today, she was the first to christen my new "studio", humble as it may be. We laughed, chatted, and captured some gorgeous images. This is one of my favorites!

My work was chosen for 2 exhibits!

I am so excited! This image was chosen to be on exhibit in the Ybor School of Visual and Performing Arts Gallery's 33rd Annual Jurried Student Art Exhibit AND the Gala Noche at Architural Designs. "Wolf Man in Ybor", as it is titled, was taken a few weeks ago as I was headed into the darkroom to develop some other images. He was so interesting looking so I asked him if I could photograph him. When I got into the darkroom to develop it, I was so pleased with the outcome. Plus, I know how much work went into the image since it was on film (not that I don't love my digital darkroom!!) His real name is John.

She has a name- Katie Elizabeth!

OK- so it has not taken 1.5 weeks for Carrie and David to name their little girl.....I have just been too busy to blog! I got a new program for my clients to view their slideshows and galleries and my heart just melted when I was working on this birth slideshow. This is truly one of my favorite parts of my job! Thanks again Carrie and David for letting me capture the memories for you!
