Check out this maternity session!

This was such a cool shoot! I admit.....I am as American Pie as they come! I try to be edgy and different, but.....well...let's just say I am not as cool as I would like to think. The M. family was so cool, funky, and laid back. They have a very distinct style- and I love it! First there is Nick (my second pre-teen "Nick" in 2 weeks), and he is Mr. G.Q. in the making! Angel was so relaxed and go-with-the-flow...she was a blast to shoot! Mitchel was up for anything and I applaud him for that! Check my site soon for some more from this session.

Family Fun Shoot at the Beach

I LOVE the beach....always have! So photo shoots at the beach are a favorite of mine. The "L." family was on vacation from Texas and was referred to me by a mutal friend. Chloe, daughter of Mike and Laura, could not get enough of the St. Pete, Florida beach- the sand, the water, the handstands! There were so many beautiful images that I had a hard time choosing just a few to post.....and in talking to Laura- they are having an equally hard time chosing their favorites! Thanks for letting me share in your vacation here in Florida!

Meet the "P." Family!

When I first met Megan and Eddie, it was in January to do their maternity session. On Tuesday I got the opportunity to shoot the whole family, including big brother Nick and baby sister Elizabeth. The top image I call the "spaghetti moment"! I went to a TAPPA meeting (Tampa Area Professional Photographers Association) last night and the speaker introduced us to this concept. It is from Lady and the Tramp, when the two dogs are having the romantic spaghetti dinner and their noses touch....I know you know that part! It is that moment in your session where you just get the goose bumps and it all seems to click- even if it is not a "perfect" image. I just love that picture! Elizabeth is just so cute and sweet- and this girl knows what she likes and what she doesn't (I can relate! ha!). And Nick?? Eleven can be a tricky age to photograph- but not for this young man. He ate it up- and the camera did the same to him!
