The Father's Day 15!

Father's Day is just around the corner- June 15- and what better gift for dad that to capture special moments between him and his kids? So here is my deal- the Father's Day 15! It's 15 minutes of shoot time (in studio) for no session fee, about 10-15 images, with a minimum print/product purchase of $315. Can't beat that with a stick! Beautiful Family Session!

Meet the U. Family- what an awesome family session this was! Everyone had such a great energy, enthusiasm, and attitude. These kids were adorable! She is just as sweet and innocent as can be! And he?? Well, this little boy truly caught my heart- he was more interested in capturing the lizzard that had made his way into my studio than anything else! (And talked so much that I now know what I am in for when Ethan turns 4!) ha! Thanks for letting me create these memories for you! Hope you enjoy your "sneak peak."

And the next American Idol is....

David Cook! OK, I admit it- I LOVE American Idol. No, I did not vote (this season, ha!), but I really love it- and what a great season it was! Despite two of my faves getting the boot way too early (Carly and Michael), I really loved the Davids. BUT- our DVR cut out with 30 seconds to go just before Ryan made the announcement! AAHH! I almost went crazy! So I ran to my computer and could not find the video anywhere. Hopefully it will be up tomorrow. Anyway, now that Dancing With the Stars, Idol, and The Office are over, what will we watch??!!

Look out Hannah Montana!

I mean it- Miley Cyrus or Hanah Montana- whatever you go by now a days, Gabriella is hot on your tail! This little cutie is not only adorable, but smart, athletic, and just a well-rounded kid! We had a blast dancing around and making fools of ourselves (OK, so maybe I was the only one making a fool of myself)- but my point is- we had FUN! Thanks for kicking off your shoes with me Gabriella!

Baby on Board!

We all know that I LOVE maternity sessions. They are so fun, sexy, and beautiful! Beth and EJ and I had a great time at their photo shoot, as they anxiously await the birth of their son. It was wonderful working with you both- can't wait to meet the little man!! Thanks for giving me the opportunity to capture this time in your life!

Congratulations to Kelly W!

Congrats to Kelly W. on winning the Mother's Day Blog contest (and a $150 credit to use at her next session!!) I really appreciate all of the entries- it was very hard to narrow down a winner. I love this sweet picture that Kelly sent to me along with her essay. Why bother trying to keep your house clean when you have a toddler who is just going to play Uno in your coffee table anyway? ha! Here is a little caption from Kelly's entry that really won my heart:
"So what does being a mom mean to me? That's easy! It means never sleeping in again, never putting myself first, a messy house, laundry always needing to be washed, folded, and washed again...and again, plates in the sink, a car full of junk that is usually not mine- and endless kisses, hugs, smiles, and a feeling in my heart that I could never explain in words. A feeling that only a mother could recognize. A feeling that I never knew existed, until I became a mother.....just like my own mother warned me...."

Sassy, sexy, and beautiful!

This session was so fun! I can understand how a boudouir session can be a little scary, but I try to make it super relxed, easy, and fun! And that is what this was! Ms. L is absolutely beautiful and has a deep appreciation for artwork- especially nudes; so she decided she would go for it and try it herself! We had a blast! While all of the images are very tasteful, classy, and artistically composed, these were a few of the images that I felt were "PG" enough for my blog- plus I love them! Thanks for trusting me with this shoot K.!!

Today I Will Marry My Best Friend....

I had the absolute pleasure of photographing Laura and Patrick's wedding this weekend. I know that couples are in love when they get married- but this couple is SO IN LOVE that you could truly feel it! It warmed my heart and gave me goosebumps! We have so many incredible captures from the wedding, but I wanted to post a few just as a teaser. The wedding was at the Sand Pearl Resort on Clearwater Beach and it was absolutely beautiful! Congrats Laura and Patrick! May you have many wonderful, happy, healthy years together!
